Yoga is a vast scientific system that gives us a systematic roadmap for living well. Ayurveda is the Sister Science to Yoga and helps us understand our bodies, preventing them from Dis-Ease. Yoga and Ayurveda together can help us understand our bodies from the Inside Out.

In this workshop you will be introduced to some key concepts of yoga philosophy and physiology. We will move through simple yoga postures allowing you to fit the posture (rather than the posture fit you), raise your energy levels through pranayama (breath work), work out your Body Type (Dosha) to help you become aware of your imbalances, and experience deep relaxation with Yoga Nidra (a relaxing mind and body scan).

You will also be invited you to explore your current situation, how your body is feeling in the moment. You will have an opportunity to get real with your body and mind and identify ways to help heal any imbalances through mindful eating, breathwork, and movement, understanding that each day is different and to approach it as you feel.

No previous experience is required. You do not need to be able to sit on the floor and can do this whole session in a chair if you wish.
