The fee for this course, for students who are not eligile for funding, is $1020. This fee is payable at enrolment.

Are you currently working in the beauty industry and would like to further develop your skills? Then look no further than our Statement of Attainment in Make-up! This course will provide you with the practical skills, knowledge and confidence to apply make-up professionally.

The Statement of Attainment in Make-up is delivered in our on-site beauty salon at Central Coast Community College and will give you the opportunity to perform tasks such as designing a make-up plan, creating special occasion makeup, such as formal and bridal make-up for photography. Our team of specialists will be there every step of the way, and the combination of classroom and practical exercises means you can graduate with the skills needed to excel in your chosen career!

Who Is This Course For

This course is for students looking to begin their career in the beauty industry or for current industry workers to gain additional knowledge and skills.

Learning Outcomes

This course is made up of the elective units from SHB30215 Certificate III in Make-up, and you will learn:

  • Client consultation and colour analysis
  • Facial shapes, highlighting and shading
  • Designing a make-up plan
  • Special occasion makeup for photography

Study Pathways

Students who choose to enrol in this Statement of Attainment may be eligible to apply for the SHB30115 Certificate III in Beauty Services. Students will then have the opportunity to graduate with SHB30115 Certificate III in Beauty Services and/or SHB30215 Certificate III in Make-up.

Career Opportunities

Students wishing to undertake this course may consider the following work roles:

  • Make-up Artist
  • Retail cosmetics

Delivery Mode

Face-to-face delivery with mandatory practical placement (completed on-site in our operational Student Salon).

Funding Eligibility

This course is being offered under the Adult and Community Education Community Services Obligation (CSO) Program. This funding has been designed to support people who experience barriers to training and employment. To determine your eligibility for the CSO Program click here.

Entry Requirements

Students must have successfully completed or be enrolled in the SHB30115 Certificate III in Beauty Services to enrol in this course.

Assessments are made against units of competency from the Certificate III in Make-Up SHB30215.
