If you are an absolute beginner or perhaps you already know a smattering of French, forget the usual phrase book and join our French for Beginners & Travellers course right here on the Central Coast!

Chances are you’re already au fait with a number of French phrases and words, but this fun and interactive course will delve deeper into the language, exploring vocabulary and grammar, with a focus on addressing people, greetings and family.

Who Is This Course For

This course is for students interested in learning the basics of French who have very limited experience of the language.

Learning Outcomes

  • Introduce yourself and other people in the group.
  • Address someone using the appropriate levels of formality.
  • Provide personal information about yourself and others.
  • Spell and pronounce your name in French.
  • Ask another person for their personal information.
  • Say numbers in French and use them in context.

Students are also required to purchase the following textbook prior to class commencement: BBC, French Experience 1 (ISBN 9780563472568).
