Funding Eligibility

The College is excited to announce that the SIT20316 Certificate II in Hospitality is being offered under Smart and Skilled, a reform of the NSW Vocational Education and Training (VET) system. Smart and Skilled funding is helping people in NSW get the skills they need to advance their careers.

Prior to being accepted into this course as a Smart and Skilled student, you will need to contact the College to ask for a finalised eligibility entitlement quotation and will need to attend an onsite interview with our Hospitality trainer. From here you will be provided with a Smart and Skilled enrolment pack, all the forms must be filled out and brought into the College for administration review. Please note that enquiring about the Smart and Skilled subsidy does not guarantee you a position within this course.

Entry Requirements

This course is for students who have at least 12 months experience in the finance industry. Students must have successfully completed year 10 (or equivalent, Certificate II), turned 16 and have relevant experience and/or qualifications that indicate likely success in completing the course.

What to Bring To Class

Please bring a pen, paper and USB to class. All other course resources will be provided for you on the day. There will be an online component to this course, which will need access to a home computer/device and internet to complete assignments at home.
